Fido

Fido is a location based native iOS and Android app that assists people in finding dogs in their area that are good matches for their dog to play with. Users are able to browse, contact, and set up play dates with dogs, find nearby dog parks, and create or RSVP to dog related events. The app has a simple and familiar native layout, allowing the user to feel at ease while navigating. This project was conducted during an UI Design course I took in 2021. The brief was to design the iOS and Android version of a mobile app of your choice that solves a specific user problem. From my personal experience of moving to a new city and adopting a dog, I understood how difficult it can be to find other dogs for socialization. I found myself looking online for any products to help me meet people in my area specifically to engage with dogs, but found nothing. From this, Fido was created.
